A transformational and comprehensive training designed to set solid foundations in yoga teaching in the idyllic paradise that is Rote Island Indonesia.


A Yoga Teacher Training isn’t just for aspiring teachers, but for anyone who wants to deepen their personal practice. Whether your intention is to teach yoga or strengthen your practice, a 200hr Teacher Training provides access to new possibilities on and off your mat empowering you to live with courage and passion. The Movement Freedom Transformation Teacher Training course offers in-depth training in Techniques of Yoga, Teaching Methodology, Anatomy and Physiology, Philosophy, Ethics, & Lifestyle, Group Practicum and Presentation Skills.

This 16 night intensive training is designed to fully envelope you in the practice, theory, and development of teacher training. The training will give you the knowledge and understanding to be competent on the mat and in the classroom, and help you positively impact the lives of your students and wider communities. Participants will learn to teach authentic, high quality and anatomically intelligent yoga. This course focuses on developing the capacity to skilfully sequence, teach and lead students through a yoga practice that can empower and inform.

 

Environment 

Rote Island has an identity of its own with endless exploration and discoveries to be done. Located in the Southern most point of Asia this exotic island has much to offer from amazing Surf breaks to hectares of coral reef which are home to a rich diversity of marine life. Not only will it satisfy any Ocean lover – Rote also stands out for its beautiful ancient Rock and Land formations, magnificent views and a unique indigenous Christian culture. From rolling hills to stunning cliffs, caves and coves, powdery white sand beaches, untouched forests, lagoons and one of the oldest and biggest Mangroves tree forests in Indonesia – there is plenty of Beauty and Wilderness to take in.

Accommodation

Utopia Rote is a fully off the grid Eco Lodge centred around wellness and sustainability in the back hills overlooking the forest and Indian Ocean. Utopia offers guests unique accommodations with an all inclusive experience, focused on surfing, yoga and nourishing meals, all within a setting of natural beauty and low impact on the environment. Guests can choose from six handcrafted natural rooms featuring stunning panoramic views, indigenous construction with comfortable amenities. All suites are twin share with seperate bedding.

The lodge also features an on-site restaurant focusing on fresh seasonal local meals, an infinity pool, forest yoga shala, fire pit, herbal and vegetable gardens and a cobblestone deck with breath taking sunset views. Beyond the guest experience, Utopia is built to minimise it’s impact on the environment by being fully off the grid, relying on solar power only, compostable dry toilets and local homegrown organic foods on site and the importance of sustainability seeps into every aspect of the lodge and its operation.

Be ready for real silence, bird orchestras in the mornings, good vibes all day around and majestic sunsets and starry nights. All accommodation is designed to make you feel part of the surrounding nature. Simple, earthy Indigenous architecture with tasteful touches to make you feel at home in the wild.

Meals

Enjoy daily holistic and nourishing meals created with local and seasonal ingredients. Everything is made from scratch using fresh ingredients to create a variety of healthy dishes. Meals are served raw and cooked, sweet and sour, light and vibrant rich and comforting. Utopia specialise in plant-based Italian and seafood dishes. Daily meals revolve around the community table, bringing everyone together to share and connect. Dinners are candle lit under the stars for a natural ambiance.
